Children and Parents - West Neighbourhood House

West Neighbourhood House offers a wide variety of programming for preschool-aged and school-aged children, as well as for their parents.

Family Drop-In Programs

Our Family Drop-In programs are designed for parents, caregivers, and children under 6 years of age. These programs are free for everyone. Carefully crafted with your child in mind, each detail is part of a greater schema to stimulate learning through play. We provide a rich learning space that fosters creativity and healthy child development through art, music and movement, science, roleplay and much more.

With the support of an Early Childhood Educator, your child will interact with other children and develop important social skills. Every detail has been planned to set in motion learning in all developmental domains: Cognitive, Physical, Social, and Emotional. These activities are designed for children to explore their curiosity, foster creativity, expand imaginations, and develop problem-solving skills while building meaningful connections with others.
